Great food small and authentic.

The presentation of the food on the plate was beautiful, but tasted bland. Service was not great either. This place caters to locals only. Wouldn't eat there again.

Ordered food from this restaurant on DoorDash and called to find out where the food was after two hours , a very arrogant lady answered the phone and told me she has a full restaurant and cannot deal with this right now and to have a nice day. Paid $50 for their food and they don’t care whether their customers receive it or not you’re just as responsible for the food if you allow someone to pick it up and deliver it but thank you for the little time you gave me!

Jesse, our server, was great. The food made by chef Mark DeRusso was also great. Small place you may miss just driving by but really good food.

Authentic Italian food. Friendly staff. The foods was excellent. We will add this to our list of favorite restaurants here in St Augustine. We had the cheese ravioli which was excellent. Can't wait to try the chicken parmesan.

Rats in dining room and kitchen while we were eating!! Pointed them out to waiter as I’m standing on my chair and he casually said I’ll get your check. No apologies very non chap ant about them like they we re used to them and we should be ok with a rat sniffing around our feet while we eat!!I was in the local resale store and spoke to a nice lady owner who mentioned they had more of what I was looking for at there other location near La Strada and I told her about our experience and she stated the owner harassed and terrorized her and her business partner another female to the point they had to have him served with a restraining order! These ladies are working hard to make a n honest living and this guy has nothing else to do but terrorize his female business neighbors!? Shame on him and anyone who patronizes his business!

Just very rude. I read this said will be closed at 930pm, so I decide go to there, and arrive by 8:45 with my woman as special love day but them said closed and avoid let me eat there, so ruin ours love. So I don't believe in their schedule anymore.

Excellent food and service. Servers Michael and Sindy are super nice. My compliments to Chef Mark, great flavor and the portions very generous.

Italian food at it's best

True representation of a mom n pop family Italian restaurant. Everything is fresh prepared and double checked to ensure a delicious meal. You feel very welcome and are never rushed to leave. Menu contains a well organized selection of true Italian dishes. The chef prepared fish on a bed of spinach was so good. I chose Parmesan topped sea bass and it was cooked perfectly and tasted oh so good. The spinach was prepared in an olive oil and something else that made it one of the best I've had. Glad I didn't get the kids cheeseburger!

I planned a dinner event for 26 people . Mark and his very friendly staff did a fabulous job handling a large crowd. Food came out at the same time and every person said their meal was delicious. Even the separate checks were handled efficiently and accurately. Great place in every way!

This place was a delightful experience! It was fabulous all the way down from the homemade Italian bread with the side of tomatoes with olive oil and herbs, to the entree of crab, shrimp and lobster manicotti, to the dessert. Our dessert was the most light, flavorful dessert. I'm going to make it when I get home. I won't make it as well, but I'm going to try!!💗💗💗 Love you Christine, Mark and Cindy! You rock!!🌹🌹🌹

Felt like I was walked into my Italian family's household in the 1900's. Cool atmosphere, older gentlemen escorted my wife to her seat and pushed mine in as well. Tasty champagne, dinner & dessert. Coming back here 100% very romantic as well!

Disorganized BUT the Food was amazing. Food service took forever. We were not told why it took so long to get our food prepared and served ?

The pasta was homemade and the calamari was lightly battered and simply delicious. We happened chanced upon the restaurant and were delighted by the food and atmosphere. The wine list was excellent as well. Highly recommended if you crave pasta one evening.

Food was very good but there was a bunch of little flies flying around. We found a gnat frozen in an ice cube in one of our drinks. We showed the staff, they took it away without even the slightest apology. There was no "Oh sorry about that" or anything even when returning with a new glass! I opened the kid cup to check and there was something floating around in there as well. The manager knew the issues and didn't say anything to us regarding it, which to me was rude and unprofessional. Great food, poor customer service, and the flies were in abundance and constantly trying to land on our food as if we were eating outdoors.

A well kept secret dining experience.. do not go here if you are in a hurry! They expect you to enjoy every course of your meal.. not fast food! And flavors that are an absolute treat!

The place was great , service was very and helpful with good ideas to the meal just wright. The food amazing , Chef Mark did a great job on the dishes that were chosen . Highly recommend this place, need to go back for desserts .

Excellent menu. The four in our party all had very different entrees: Veal Picata, Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Spaghetti and Meatballs and Parmesan Encrusted Grouper on a Spinach bed. All were wonderful and the service was exceptional. Loved this place. We left quite satiated!

Great food. Best meatballs ever. Have eaten there a number of years and never disappointed. An absolute unqualified recommendation.

First time to eat there. My wife said it was the best meal she has had in a long time. Food tasted great and fresh. My wife had the lobster ravioli and I had the lasagna. Service was professional and spaced out so that we could enjoy our meal. We also enjoyed a cannoli. Next time we are in St. Augustine we will eat there.

La Strada has an extensive & authentic menu of dishes. My husband & I recently dined there for our anniversary. We shared an escargot appetizer which was wonderful. My husband had a venal entree & I had one with fresh salmon. Both were quite delicious. We enjoyed the charming & romantic atmosphere. One negative about the service - our waitress was working solo & the dining room filled up while we were there. She was overwhelmed! We wanted coffee after dinner, but didn't want to wait. Overall, we had a most delightful dinner & will return for more good food.

It was a pretty quiet night. Food and service were just right.

First time in St Augustine. Ate at some trendy places in old town, but this restaurant is by far number 1. Un believable flavor to the pasta, sauce, sausage meatballs, chicken parmigiana, ravioli and the topper the desserts. I am not certain why this place did not have a line. Wake up people of St Augustine. This is a must eat place. Stop going to the trendy places and discover unbelievable food that will leave your stomach full and taste buds surely satisfied. 6 of us are together and all of us shared the same experience of a GREAT ITALIAN food!

We have dined at many restaurants in St. Augustine.La Strada is one of our Favorites.Food, Atmosphere and service are all great.Be aware it does take some time for Entrees to arrive because they are all made fresh to order. But so worth the wait. We make it a point to get there at least once every trip. Cindy is great and delivers excellent service. My Favorite is the pasta with little neck clams in a marinara sauce that is delicious.Sauce is better than any restaurant back home in long island... No kidding.

Amazing experience!!! Food was absolutely delicious by Chef Mark. Our server Sindy truly made the experience magnificent. Cannot recommend enough. Yummy!!!

The restaurant tastes delicious! The dishes are not clean. The wait staff were very nice until the end when our waitress decided to put a 20$ Tip on our already 100$ bill. She wrote it in herself, on a party of three. We won't be back for those reasons.

This place was so cute! The food and deserts we’re amazing, and the servers were hilarious and so sweet. Definitely coming back if I’m ever on vacation near it again.

The pumpkin ravioli was melt in your mouth absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is welcoming. Michael very friendly,the owner "chef" mark and his wife christina beautiful people thank you both for making our visit to their restaurant exceptional! Everything was delicious!

While the service was a little slow, it was one of the best meals I have ever had and I would go back time and time again.

Excellent. Food was wonderful

Food was excellent, however, the service was very poor. Both times we've come here has been the same. The waiter/waitress were overwhelmed and understaffed. My husband never got a refill on his beverage and we were never able to have coffee or dessert because the wait would have been 45 min because they were more concerned with the service of another large party.

Disturbingly expensive! The people charge and leave their own tips if you pay with card! Even for a small party! The waitress will write in a 20$ tip

Great food! Had a large party and we all love the food.

I seriously don't know where to start..we placed our order..had to wait 20mins to get cheese bread..when asked if we could get our salad and soup..we were told that ..the chef had to made the bread 1st..finally got our and salad and soup..yep you guess it. So not worth it. After an hour and 15 mins we finally get our dinner..sadly the chicken I ordered was burned..never in my life have I got 3 small pieces of chicken .the servicer asked once if everything was ok..I couldn't answer her fast enough before she was off to do something else..finally after my friend was done with his meal..we got their attention and send my order back..thank god I'm not hungry still.i will not be back or recommend this place..

LA Strada Italian Restaurant in Saint Augustine, located on A1A, is a great restaurant to take a date, or family. Service is top notch, and the food is delicious. Prices are reasonable, and there is a wonderful selection of Italian wines. I would recommend this place to everyone!
